If you enjoy trying to catch fish so big that you have no business going for them, or if you want to offer your fly to a fish that has probably never seen one-then the offshore waters are where you should be. The vastness of the oceans holds many species that will take a fly-up to and including blue marlin. Tackle for the various species varies greatly. What will work for catching a small tuna is totally inadequate on a large, swift wahoo. The selection of lines is vital to success.
